Repetitions or prolongations of speech sounds OR
- Hesitations/pauses
- Marked disturbance in the fluency of speech.
- Frequently associated movements, for example:
- Eye blinks
- Tics
- Tremors of the lips or face
- Jerking of the head
- Breathing movements
- Fist-clenching
